Baloney Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026 · App: Baloney: AI Excuse Generator · Developer: Wojo Labs · Contact: support@wojolabs.app
The short version
Baloney writes excuses with an AI model that runs on your phone. The app has no account, no ads and no analytics. What you type, the excuses it writes, your history and your likes stay on your phone. Wojo Labs does not collect personal data through the app.
What stays on your phone
- The reasons you type or pick, and the excuses Baloney writes.
- The excuses you copied or shared (so Baloney never repeats them), your thumbs up and down, and any excuses you reported.
- Your settings, such as the theme.
This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. You can erase the used-excuses list in Settings > Forget used excuses, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Reports you choose to send
If you report an excuse, the report is saved on your phone. It is only sent to us if you tap "Send by email", which opens your own email app with the report filled in. We then receive that email (your email address and the text you send) and use it only to improve Baloney. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Purchases and downloads through Google Play
Subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. To process purchases, the app includes Google's Play Billing Library, which communicates with Google Play and may send diagnostic information to Google. The AI model is delivered to your phone by Google Play. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Children
Baloney is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Because your excuses and history are kept on your device and not sent to us, they are protected by your phone's own security.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
